At RtD it’s not just about football and developing athletes, we care about developing the players and nourishing their minds.

he purpose of the RTD Girls Assistant Coach role in our team is nurturing their holistic development in supportive environments and providing pathways for them to unlock their full potential. The assistant coach will be responsible for developing our young student-athletes through a transformative program that includes elite-level football training to ignites their potential and sets them on the path to achieving their dreams.

JOB ROLE
​

  • Aiding the head coach in the management of a sports program.

  • Supervising and instructing players on proper techniques.

  • Providing encouragement and motivation to the team.

  • Work with the Head Coach to deliver coaching sessions.

  • Plan a match schedule with the coaching department for short, medium and long-term planning.

  • Assisting with the recruitment of young players for the program.

  • Fulfilling other duties as assigned by the head coach.

  • Analyze performance data and provide feedback to the players.

  • Co-teach proper techniques and tactics to the players. Provide support to the Head Coach including making tactical decisions.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Research underpinning people development and purpose

  • Passion to work in football and be part of the RtD community.

  • Excellent Football Knowledge

  • Ability to communicate, write fluently in Arabic and English

  • An interest and passion for football coaching

  • A good work ethic and understanding of the role of the analyst.

  • A strong enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop, committed to achieving objectives set.

  • A good team player – desire to develop others within the team.

  • Highly organized, ability to manage multiple tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Understanding of proper coaching techniques and tactics.

  • Ability to analyze performance data and provide constructive feedback.

EXPERIENCE
 

  • Previous coaching experience specifically coaching young girls.

  • Previous experience as a football player.
