INTERNATIONAL

STUDENT-ATHLETE

Our International Student-Athlete Pathway is designed to empower high-achieving girls and boys and provide them with opportunities to chase their dreams and become the next generation of leaders, while football remains a key part of their journey.

We identify student-athletes across our academies who are excelling academically and meeting our character development milestones with top scholarship opportunities in the US and UK. Ever since our first student-athlete landed a scholarship in 2004, we’ve built a network of partnerships that includes 59 partner institutions with some of the world’s top high schools, colleges, and universities, including 18 high schools & 41 colleges.

To date, over 100 graduates have ventured on the international student-athlete pathway. Many have gone to pursue pro football careers alongside their academic journeys, including Ousseni Bouda, a Stanford University graduate, currently playing for San Jose Earthquakes and Shakur Mohammed, a Duke University alumnus now playing for Orlando City.

When our graduates embark on their educational journey in the United States, our dedicated team of alum, led by Chief Development Officer for the USA, Ron Del Mont, ensures they are supported every step of the way. Together with our network of host families, partner institutions, supporters, and graduates, we ensure their safety, facilitating a smooth transition into this exciting new chapter of their lives. Concurrently, the team manages relationships with our partner institutions, comprising of boarding schools, colleges, universities, athletic clubs, and companies.

“The opportunity to contribute to the emerging excellence with an organization rooted in purposeful pathways for children and young adults to fulfil their dreams is my most rewarding experience yet."
