Right to Dream students in the US had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend. It was a weekend of football, fun, and exposure.
Over three days (Nov.25- 27), our US-based students came together as one team for the NEFC Thanksgiving showcase in Lancaster, Massachusetts. It’s a great opportunity for our growing number of students in the US to showcase their talents in front of everyone including college and university coaches and recruiters – A valuable exposure opportunity.
It’s a three-game showcase. No knockout stages and no finals. The winner? The team with the most points and most goals in their bracket. Each bracket has a different competitive level and Right to Dream are always keen to participate in Bracket A – the highest level.
The boys kicked off their campaign on a high note beating New England Surf 2-1. They lost 3-1 to ECNL before falling to a close 3-2 defeat to Juventus Academy Boston.
