French Football Federation President Philippe Diallo visited the Right to Dream Egypt academy this week, and praised the model for combining sport and education, describing it as “a great project.”

Diallo toured the West Cairo Campus, inaugurated in 2023, alongside Right to Dream Egypt CEO Mohamed Wasfy, getting a closer look at the model in action.

He met staff, students, and players, learning more about the holistic model that powers our model across Africa, Europe, and North America.

“Right to Dream is a great project that creates opportunities for both girls and boys across all of Egypt,” Diallo said. “Combining sport and education is key to developing well-rounded players. We’ll see great achievements in the near future.”

He also praised the academy’s focus on identifying talent nationwide. “It's impressive to see that the academy is scouting talent across Egypt. It's a rare approach."

Founded on the belief that talent is everywhere but opportunity is not, Right to Dream scout talents in places overlooked by others, offering equal access to opportunity for young talent.

For us, moments like this aren’t just about showing what we’ve built. They’re a chance to share our model and contribute to a bigger shift in how the football community thinks about talent development and the future of the game.
