The turn of the new year has already brought some exciting changes to our talented Right to Dream FCN rosters - and we're sure they'll help us take new strides towards achieving our dreams.
After a fantastic stint as Head Coach of our Danish Superliga side FCN, Flemming Pedersen is now officially our new Group Technical Director across Right to Dream and FCN. With a wealth of experience and an impressive vision under his belt, Pedersen will be leading football development across all our academies and pro football clubs.
“It has always been Flemming's responsibility to set the perspective on the sporting and playing direction in the club. And it has always been the plan that it should be his primary role. Now, he gets the opportunity to dedicate himself more to it, and thus be able to make plans further ahead than just the next few years, and have the same responsibility throughout Right to Dream,”
FCN Sports Director Jan Laursen said.
Meanwhile, Johannes Hoff Thorup took over as new Head Coach of FCN. Thorup’s appointment brings us so much joy and pride, for he’s not only the perfect fit but also one of our homegrown talents.
He joined FCN eight years ago, and we’ve since seen him grow into a fine coach and leader. We’ve watched him as he coached our U14 and U17 teams, and we’ve cheered for him as he made his move as an assistant coach with the first team. And today, we celebrate another major milestone together as he becomes head coach.
And we’re confident that we’ll continue to achieve big things together – we currently top the Danish Superliga standings!
