A New Addition to RTD Roster!

Our dream is getting bigger everyday (we’re now up and running in Egypt!). And it makes our hearts full to extend our model to new places and partner with more emerging excellence as they chase their big dreams.

But to continue expanding our dream, we know we have to rely on a deep roster of experienced talents – a capable, purpose-driven squad of coaches, teachers, strategists, and media mavens. So today, we add another valuable member to our team.

Without further ado, let’s welcome Mads Davidsen, who joins us as the new Group Head of Football for all football strategy across the organization.

Many of you already know Mads. He kicked off his coaching career in his home country Denmark with Boldklubben af 1893 and Brondby IF, respectively, before developing his career elsewhere in Europe and the Middle East.

He is not only a talented and experienced coach – he’s also worked as a scout, analyst, assistant manager to the likes of Sven-Göran Eriksson, technical and sporting director, and football consultant. He knows football inside and out.

With a wealth of experience and an impressive vision, Mads is a man capable of building and cultivating long-term football strategies. He has what it takes to breed what RTD targets.

From now on, he’ll be designing and delivering an aligned football strategy for all age groups and teams across all Right to Dream clubs and academies. This will include the development and education in our style of play, coaching methods, coach and player pathways, and training methodology.

And while Mads will be based in his home country, his role will extend beyond the Denmark Academy. He’ll be spending a lot of time at Right to Dream academies and clubs in Egypt, Ghana, and soon in the US.

“I am incredibly proud and excited to be starting this new chapter in my life at Right to Dream. I am a huge believer in the way they operate and being part of a purpose-led high-performance driven organisation was a huge factor in me wanting to join. I’m looking forward to how I can hopefully maximise further potential to help Right to Dream continue to grow,”
Mads said.

Right to Dream Founder Tom Vernon is equally excited about Mads’ arrival, saying his experience represents a valuable addition to Right to Dream.

“Mads’ experience in setting up long-term strategies at football clubs was a huge factor in us partnering with him. With Right to Dream continuing to grow and expand, it was imperative we hired someone like Mads to create a consistent and standardized way of working across all of our clubs and academies,”
Vernon added.

We can’t wait to achieve big things together, Mads!
