Right to Dream has shaped who I am. Getting these opportunities reminds me how lucky I am and makes me determined to help others back home.

From Ofankor Barrier in Accra, Theophilus Quartey joined the academy in 2009 after impressing at a recruitment event. Theo left the academy in 2013 when he won a scholarship to study at the Salisbury School, Connecticut. Alongside his stellar performances on the soccer field, Theo is testament to Right to Dream's commitment to producing high-quality academic and athletic graduates. After just a year at Salisbury, he was awarded First Honours for Astounding Academic Achievement.

A hard-working, dedicated student and teammate, Theo embodies the determination and integrity that Right to Dream values so highly. Upon graduation from Salisbury, Theo was awarded the Richard Fromberg Award as the member of his graduating class who had overcome the biggest adversity in life.

Theo signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Villanova starting Autumn 2017.
