First-Place Finish for FC Nordsjælland in Danish Superliga Regular Season

Fantastic finish to regular season!

Our Danish side FC Nordsjælland finished off first in the regular Superliga season and advanced to the championship playoffs – A huge accomplishment and an exciting moment for our club.

A sensational 2-1 comeback win over Brøndby IF on Sunday saw FC Nordsjælland secure a first-place finish with 43 points, one clear of second-placed Copenhagen. FCN turned around a one-goal deficit at halftime, as Right to Dream Academy Graduate Ernest Nuamah netted a second-half brace to seal the three points in front of a sell-out crowd.

19-year-old Nuamah is among a crop of young talents who led FC Nordsjælland to the top spot. Our Danish team fields the youngest top-tier squad in the world with an average age of 22.31 - A club with a culture truly rooted in youth development.

And over the past years, we’ve got to watch many incredible talents grow and shine into fantastic players at the Right to Dream Park, including Right to Dream Graduates Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who now play for Ajax and Southampton, respectively. It’s the first spot where many of our alumni kick off their pro football careers.

We’re very proud to see our model thrive and produce fantastic results. And besides watching the men’s team advance to the championship playoffs, we’re also following the FCN Women’s team Danish Cup journey. They’re one game away from reaching the final after beating AGF 1-0 in the semis first-leg at home. And we can’t wait to see what they achieve next.

VERY exciting times ahead!
