‘Andy’ came to the club as a 12-year-old kid, but already as an U15 player, he stopped playing football as he was deprived of what he loved most due to a teasing injury at the age of 14.

However, he returned to the field after a successful operation, began to score goals and was also selected to various youth national teams in a talented year 1999.

As a 17-year-old, he made his Superliga debut, but he did not need much more than a single season in the league before becoming a big profile. His deadly left foot made life difficult for many teams, which resulted in 22 season goals, a selection as the male talent of the year in Denmark and a nomination for the much-admired Golden Boy award.

Today, ‘Andy’ is playing at Bologna in Serie A, where has only added to his game. He has scored goals for fun for the Danish U21 national team, which was followed by a selection for the senior national team this autumn. In his debut against the Faroe Islands, he scored a goal, made a beautiful assist, and forced a penalty kick.
