Edward Opoku Yeboah Alexander is a Right to Dream graduate from Odumase, a small town in the Brong-Ahafo region of southern Ghana. 

The youngest of seven children, Edward was spotted by Right to Dream at a recruitment event he attended at the age of just 10 years old. A diminutive and highly skilled forward, he has been a prolific goalscorer throughout his football career. 

Edward left the Academy at the age of 14, to study at the prestigious Millbrook Boarding School in Connecticut, USA. From there he won a full scholarship to study at the University of Virginia. In his Freshman year, he was named on the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Team after scoring 15 goals in 18 games. The following season he was named in the NSCAA All-American 2nd team.
