After signing for Manchester City from Right to Dream, Nana spent four seasons on loan at Strømsgodset IF in Norway. During that time, he was an integral member of their title-winning side in the 2012-13 season, scoring 7 goals in 28 appearances.

After 100 appearances for Strømsgodset, Nana signed for MLS side Colorado Rapids in January 2017. A fast, technical ball-winning midfielder; at 22 his best years are still to come as he looks to earn a call up for the Ghana national team.

Nana is joined in MLS by five other Right to Dream graduates Emmanuel Boateng, David Accam, Mohammed Abu, Joshua Yaro and Abu Danladi.
