Umbro supports RtD with 5-year sponsorship agreement

The Right to Dream Academy, in partnership with Vodafone, is delighted to officially announce a new sponsorship with the internationally renowned sports brand, Umbro.

Umbro has signed a 5-year sponsorship with Right to Dream, providing the Academy Students and Coaching Staff with an extensive range of sportswear, and exclusive-designed match kit.

Umbro’s support provides the Academy with essential support in furthering the development of the next generation of Ghanaian football stars –Academy students wore the new kit at the recent World Finals of the Manchester United Premier Cup.

From the Right to Dream students in Ghana to the graduates playing in professional clubs and universities across Europe and the United States – including Manchester City and Black Stars footballer, Mohammed Abu – they are all proud to wear Umbro.

Umbro’s partnership is also supporting the Right to Dream Academy achieve its next goal - a Girls’ Football Programme– due to commence in September 2012.  The programme will provide an exciting and unique opportunity to 16 talented girls from across Ghana – a five year scholarship to develop their footballing talent, gain a world class education – nurturing them into female role models for the generations to follow.
