Barry Ewing, Eagle Sportschairs, has generously donated two new wheelchair racing frames to Raphael and Anita which arrived in Ghana this morning after a long journey from Atlanta, U.S.A. – a great start to 2012 which is due to be a big year for the team.
‘The arrival of the new frames for Raphael and Anita is a very exciting phase in our journey. Their addition will make a considerable difference to both of the athletes’ performances and enable them to progress to the next level. Raphael was training with a cracked frame and Anita’s frame was too big for her so to have this new equipment from Eagle Sportschairs is really great’, said Coach Alexandra Main.
Susie Daniell, Head of the Paralympic Programme, commented: ‘On behalf of the whole team at Right to Dream, I would like to thank Eagle Sportschairs for their generous donation. Training in Africa is extremely challenging and it is very difficult for the athletes to progress without support due to financial constraints and lack of facilities. It is only through sponsors such as Eagle Sportschairs that we are able to facilitate the development of these talented athletes and we very much hope that their hard work and efforts will be rewarded.’
Barry Ewing, Eagle Sportschairs, commented: “We are hoping these athletes can show the world Eagle Sportschairs is the premier company in adaptive sports equipment”.
