A New Year Brings New Opportunities for Abu

January 2012

Right to Dream graduate and Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu has joined German side Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season. 

Abu is under contract with Manchester City until June 2014 and spent last season on loan to Norweigan side Stromgodset.  He will join the Bundesliga II side in February of this year.

More immediately, Abu will be heading to South Africa this week in preparation for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.  Abu was selected to be a part of the squad last month and hopes to play a key role in Ghana’s success in the tournament.

Right to Dream wishes Ghana the best of luck in what looks to be an exciting tournament and we look forward to following Abu's progress this year.
